The 81st Legislative Session has just closed and a few bills are heading for the govenors's desk.
Our heads are still spinning from email blasts, urgent alerts and "chubbing".
Our forum will be discussing the session from the House point of view
Representative Debbie Riddle, elected in 2002,
serves District 150, parts of Tomball, Houston, Atascocita, Spring and Humble.
Her committee assignments include: Appropriations, Appropriations-S/C on Criminal Justice,
Chair Appropriations-S/C on Hurricane, Criminal Jurisprudence and House Administration.
Representative Patricia Harless, elected in 2006,
serves District 126 encompassing Northwest Harris County.
Her committee assignments include: Redistricting, State Affairs,
and Technology, Economic Development & Workforce.
Representative Allen Fletcher, elected in 2008,
serves District 130 which includes the City of Tomball, Cypress and part of Waller.
He was appointed to the Criminal Jurisprudence and Urban Affairs committees.
Our pride in OUR local representatives grows with each committee assignment,
bills filed, debates on our behalf and laws passed.
